Drop In Adult Literacy Labs

IRESA Adult EdDrop In Adult Literacy Labsucation is excited to announce free Drop-In Adult Literacy Labs happening every Tuesday and Thursday throughout February at Michigan Works! in East Tawas.

The labs will run from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and participants can stop by anytime during those hours - no appointment necessary. Whether you need help with reading and writing, navigating technology, understanding financial documents, or preparing for the workforce, staff will be available to provide one-on-one assistance in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.

These labs are designed to be accessible, low-pressure, and flexible, allowing community members to drop in when it works for their schedule and focus on the skills that matter most in their daily lives.

Services offered during the labs include help with reading comprehension, spelling, filling out forms, using computers and email, budgeting basics, understanding medical information, building resumes, and more
