The IRESA Board of Education honored Tina Williams, Director of the Alternative Academy of Iosco and Ogemaw, for being named the Alternative Education Director of The Year by MAEO at their meeting on May 14, 2025.  The Michigan Alternative Education Organization recognized Williams for her unwavering commitment to students and her transformative impact on alternative education in Michigan.  Tina Williams has been a driving force behind AEA's mission to serve students who thrive outside traditional classrooms.
