The Iosco RESA Career and Technical Education Center would like to take this opportunity to recognize Grace Martin as “Professional Student of the Month” for April 2025. Grace is the daughter of Tina and Gabriel Martin.  She is a junior at Tawas Area High School.

“Grace has been a strong leader in our class all year. She has received attendance awards this year and has wonderful work ethics. Grace takes her learning experience in Culinary very seriously. She comes to class prepared in uniform every day, has her work finished on time or before. She takes charge of the tasks and makes sure everyone is doing their job tasks and stays on time to finish. She is very pleasant and professional. She is not sure what she wants to do after graduation so she has informed me that she would like to take the Teacher prep program next year to explore her options. Grace will be a great asset at whatever she chooses to do in life. I am very excited to see where her path will take her.”

To be nominated for “Professional Student of the Month”, a student must have outstanding work ethics, no absences or tardies for the month, no discipline issues and at least a B grade point average. Iosco RESA Tech Center offers the following programs for 11th and 12th grade students: Automotive Technology, Building Trades, Business Management, Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management, Health Science, Teacher Prep Academy, and Welding & Fabrication.
